Twitter buries LeBron, Cavaliers for quitting in Game 4 of sweep

Ty Lue

The Cleveland Cavaliers went out with a whimper in Game 4 of the NBA Finals and were swept by the Golden State Warriors. It was a rough way for them to go out, especially after how close Game 1 was.

The Cavs only scored 13 points in the third quarter, began with LeBron James on the bench in the fourth, and appeared to give up. Their poor effort in the second half at home of a Finals sweep led to plenty of criticism.

This is the second time in his career that LeBron James has been swept in the Finals. This team easily could have lost to the Pacers or Celtics. They were completely overmatched against Golden State.
