Everyone said the same thing about absurd Victor Wembanyama dunk
San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama continues to fuel the speculation that he is not of this Earth. After seeing his recent viral dunk, some fans believe Wembanyama may be from Moron Mountain.
Wembanyama rose up for an utterly ridiculous slam against the Boston Celtics Sunday that left the fans at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas in awe.
The 7’4″ Frenchman took just one dribble from halfcourt and somehow ended up dunking the ball without traveling.

The Spurs still trailed 79-60 early in the third quarter at that point. But the time and score did little to diminish how preposterous the play was.
The dunk looks even better in slow motion. Wembanyama appeared to be preparing for a finger roll before deciding to slam it home.

Celtics guard Derrick White made the wise business decision to let Wemby finish unimpeded.
Several fans on X believed that Wembanyama’s dunk resembled Michael Jordan’s last-second flush from the 1996 classic “Space Jam.” The difference is Wemby’s version needed no CGI.

The Spurs rookie’s highlight wasn’t his first dunk that left fans (and even other NBA players) baffled. But it remains just as jarring every time Wemby cooks up something new.
Wembanyama finished the contest with 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in what ended up being a 134-101 loss to the Celtics.
