Joel Embiid has faced a lot of criticism during the Philadelphia 76ers’ playoff series against the New York Knicks, and one particular video compilation helps illustrate why.
Embiid was once again accused of a dirty play when he stepped on Josh Hart’s leg during New York’s Game 4 win over the 76ers at Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, Pa., on Sunday. It did not appear that there was any intent from Embiid, but fans are no longer giving him the benefit of the doubt.
There have been numerous plays during the Knicks-Sixers series where Embiid either committed or got away with a hard foul. KnicksMuse put together a video showing all of them:

All of the questionable plays involving Embiid even led to one Knicks legend calling for his former team to put the reigning NBA MVP in his place.
The Knicks held Embiid to 7-for-19 shooting in Game 4. New York took a commanding 3-1 series lead with the 97-92 victory. Embiid has been openly frustrated during the series, and it seems like he is taking that out on opposing players. He even had an issue with Sixers fans on Sunday.
