Warriors-Clippers fight during and after game (Video)

Warriors ClippersThere is a heated rivalry developing between the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors, and that was evident when the teams played on Wednesday night.

Two players were ejected for incidents during the game, and the teams had a scuffle at the end of the game that continued by the locker rooms.

Early in the fourth quarter, Warriors forward Draymond Green was ejected for throwing an elbow at Blake Griffin. Video of that is below:

Griffin was assessed with a technical foul after a review by the officials. A few minutes later, Griffin was ejected after receiving a technical foul for his scuffle with Andrew Bogut.

At the end of the game, Jamal Crawford missed a 3-pointer to allow the Warriors to pull off the 105-103 win. Bogut again was in the middle of things. He got into it with Chris Paul, and Warriors assistant Brian Scalabrine stepped in to try breaking things up. Matt Barnes, of course, joined the party.

The AP says the scuffle continued by the Clippers locker room after the game and that security broke it up. Griffin said he thinks the Warriors tried to get ejected and it worked.

“If you look at it, I didn’t do anything and I got thrown out of the game. It all boils down to they (referees) fell for it,” Griffin said. “To me, it’s cowardly basketball. I don’t know their intentions, but it worked. … If I knew the answer I’d probably be in a different position. Tonight I got two technicals for nothing.”

This is just the latest incident between the teams. You may recall that on Halloween, Bogut and DeAndre Jordan got into it.

Griffin and Warriors coach Mark Jackson had a confrontation:

As if all that isn’t enough, the Clippers also refused to hold chapel with the Warriors.

The teams meet two more times this year. Who isn’t looking forward to those games?
