The Golden State Warriors have confirmed that it was a member of their ownership group who shoved Kyle Lowry during Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night.
On Thursday, the Warriors released a statement saying minority owner Mark Stevens will not be attending any more NBA Finals games this year as a result of his actions. The team said it is “extremely disappointed” in Stevens and apologized to both Lowry and the Toronto Raptors.

Stevens was first identified as the person who shoved Lowry in a report from Axios. Lowry said after the game that he hoped the fan who pushed him would be banned for life, but it turns out he was much more than just a typical fan sitting courtside.
After he pushed Lowry on a play where Lowry went diving out of bounds, Stevens was shown on TV being escorted out of his seat. It’s unclear if he will face further consequences for his actions.
