Warriors spent mind-boggling amount of money on parade booze
The Golden State Warriors have the whole championship parade thing down to a science now that they have captured three titles in the past four years, but the amount of money they spent on their celebration this year indicates it is in no way getting old.
According to TMZ, the Warriors spent $500,000 on booze for their rolling rally in the Bay Area on Tuesday. Much of the alcohol was obviously sprayed into the air and toward the swarms of people, but that is still an unfathomable amount of champagne, beer and whatever else Golden State players wanted to bring along for the ride.
As TMZ notes, the Warriors also spent around $400,000 on alcohol for their locker room celebration after they beat the Cavaliers in Cleveland in Game 4. For those of you who struggle with math, that is nearly $1 million in booze alone.
Between the alcohol tab and the look Nick Young was sporting during the parade, the latest Warriors celebration was easily the most lavish of them all.
