Will Ferrell was a security guard at Staples Center named ‘Ted Vagina’ (Video)

Will Ferrell was at the Staples Center for the Los Angeles Lakers’ win over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night, but the actor was not in attendance as a casual fan. He was a working man. As you can see from the video above, Ferrell joined the “red coats” security team at the Staples Center and was stone-faced as he kept an eye on the crowd. That was just the start of it.

Ferrell may have had a serious look on his face, but fans probably had a difficult time taking him seriously when his name tag read “Ted Vagina.” Check out this that photo Richard Deitsch shared on Twitter:

Later in the game, Mr. Vagina had to spring into action when Shaq apparently did something that warranted his removal from the arena.

The Lakers went on to win 91-85, and as we know wins have not been easy to come by for Kobe Bryant and company this season. Perhaps they should consider hiring Ferrell as a full-time security guard. He used to show up at USC practices back when they were dominating the college football scene, so maybe his influence is just what the Lakers need.
