Zion Williamson would ‘love to play for Knicks’
New York Knicks fans have had their eye on Zion Williamson, and the Duke star is more than open to playing for the team.
Williamson’s Blue Devils beat Texas Tech 69-58 on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. The game being played in New York City led to questions after the game about playing for the Knicks.
The Duke freshman was asked what he thought about potentially playing for the Knicks and said he would love to.
Zion Williamson on Knicks: I think this is RJ's team. RJ, u wanna play for the Knicks? If they draft me, I'd love to play for the Knicks. I don't really care where I go. Just the experience of being in the NBA whoever wants me & whoever sees the most in me that's where I wanna be pic.twitter.com/HHYlKLlKK1

Williamson answered that like a pro. He’s keeping the door open to playing for anyone, saying he’ll love whatever team that shows the most interest in him by drafting him. For now, Knicks fans can dream about having Zion bringing down the house with his huge dunks, playing alongside Kristaps Porzingis.
At 9-24, the Knicks are among the five worst teams in the NBA and should have a good shot at landing a high enough pick to select a player like Williamson.
