Ryan Blaney shares awesome moment with father Dave after winning at Iowa
Ryan Blaney won in more ways than one Sunday at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa.
The Team Penske driver notched his first NASCAR Cup Series race victory of the season by besting the field at the Iowa Corn 350. Blaney also scored a huge Father’s Day win by celebrating the moment with his father Dave.

The younger Blaney extended the celebration with the rest of his family as he accepted the trophy for winning the inaugural Cup Series race at Iowa Speedway.

Most NASCAR fans are likely familiar with Dave Blaney, who competed in nearly 500 Cup Series races throughout a 17-year career.
Despite coming close on multiple occasions, the elder Blaney never managed to secure a Cup Series win. Watching his son win one on Father’s Day is probably the next best thing.
Ryan Blaney became the first driver to win at Iowa Speedway in all three NASCAR national series. Blaney won at Iowa while competing in the Craftsman Truck Series in 2012. He did the same while racing in the Xfinity Series in 2015.
