Ryan Preece had a pretty funny way of making light of the scary crash he endured during Sunday’s Daytona 500.
Preece’s No. 60 car briefly went airborne when Christopher Bell slid into his side during the race. Preece’s front wheels were off the ground for several seconds before he finally flipped in what was both a memorable but terrifying moment.

Amazingly, Preece managed to walk away from the wreck unscathed.
One day later, Preece also managed to have a sense of humor about the incident. He changed his X profile picture to a photoshopped image of himself as a NASA astronaut as a nod to the crash.
Credit to Preece for having a sense of humor about the situation. This is somehow not new to him, as it was not his first scary crash at Daytona.
Sunday’s race was a rather chaotic one, with Preece’s wreck the most prominent of several that happened over the course of the event. One crash more or less opened the door for a surprise winner on the final overtime lap.
