Will Power went against his diet drinking milk after winning Indy 500
Will Power went against his recommended diet after winning the Indy 500 on Sunday, but it was for a good reason.
Power became the first Australian driver to win the Indy 500 when he took home the checkered flag during the big race. After winning, he followed tradition and drank milk, though he ended up pouring most of it on himself.

In his post-race press conference, Power said that he’s not supposed to have dairy per his diet, which left him hesitating before drinking some.
“I hesitated because I’m not supposed to eat dairy. But I didn’t care,” Power said.

This was a cause well worth breaking his diet. The 37-year-old Team Penske driver also gave the bricks a kiss in honor of his win.
“I just can’t believe it,” Power said. “I can’t describe it. I feel like collapsing. I want to cry.”
