Alex Poythress suffers leg injury in celebration, says he’s fine (Video)

Kentucky is already without Willie Cauley-Stein after the big man got hurt in the team’s Sweet 16 win over Louisville, and now Alex Poythress may not be at full strength for the team’s championship game against UConn Monday night.

Poythress got his leg caught in the dog pile his teammates formed in their celebration after the win over Wisconsin Saturday and appeared to get hurt. However, he told the media that whatever injury it looked like he suffered wasn’t bad.

“Nah, I just caught on the bottom of the dog pile,” Poythress said after the game. “I’ll be fine.”

Poythress may say he’s fine, but the look on his face after the celebration said otherwise:
