Archie Miller got away with ridiculous move
Rhode Island coach Archie Miller somehow got away with a fairly blatant move in Saturday’s game against the Dayton Flyers.
Miller essentially played defense on one play against his former team. While running down the sideline, the Rhode Island coach was blatantly on the floor, and actually seemed to bump into Dayton’s Koby Brea as Brea was setting up on the perimeter.
I love Archie Miller, but this is an ejection for me. Was not intentional but watch the video, double T and ejection. As a coach, you cannot play defense and run toward a player while you are on the court. This impacts the Dayton player Brea. pic.twitter.com/E3FkLafqkM

Another view showed just how close Miller came to colliding with the Dayton player.

Dayton ultimately scored on the possession, but it was a bad look for Miller. Amazingly, Miller was not penalized in any way for his little incursion, even if it was unintentional.
Ultimately, the whole situation had little impact on the game. Dayton won 96-62 in a contest that was never particularly competitive.
