Bruce Pearl got emotional when talking about Chuma Okeke’s injury following Auburn’s win over North Carolina on Friday night.
The Tigers beat the Tar Heels 97-80 to advance to the finals of the Midwest Regional. Okeke led his team with 20 points and 11 rebounds prior to suffering a leg injury late in the game.
Pearl talked with TBS’ Jamie Erdahl after the game and got emotional and teary-eyed when discussing the sophomore’s injury.
