Vanderbilt has moved quickly to replace Kevin Stallings, with Valparaiso’s Bryce Drew reportedly set to be named the school’s new basketball coach.
Drew is expected to be officially named Vanderbilt coach within a day or two, according to SI’s Pete Thamel.

Drew led Valparaiso to two NCAA Tournaments in five seasons as head coach and is fresh off a run to the NIT Final. It’s a strong hire for the program, as Drew is highly regarded in NCAA circles.
Drew replaces Stallings, who left to become Pitt head coach last month.
