Kevin Stallings a top candidate for Pitt job
Kevin Stallings is a top candidate for the Pitt coaching job, according to reports.
Both CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein and ESPN’s Jeff Goodman reported the news about Stalling on Saturday night:
Vandy’s Kevin Stallings is in mix for the Pittsburgh job, sources told ESPN. Todd Turner has search — and Turner hired Stallings at Vandy.

Stallings has been at Vandy for 17 seasons, taking the Commodores to the NCAA Tournament seven times. He has led them to a top-25 ranking on four occasions. Recent reports have also said that Stallings might not be back next season, although the school denied the rumors.
Pitt is in the market for a new head coach after longtime coach Jamie Dixon left for the TCU job.
