Dachon Burke transfers from Nebraska to South Alabama
Dachon Burke is on the move and has found a new home.
Burke is leaving Nebraska as a graduate transfer and heading to South Alabama, where he will be eligible to play immediately.
Burke averaged 12.2 points per game at Nebraska this season, which was his first playing for the Cornhuskers. The end of his career with Nebraska did not go well.
Burke was suspended indefinitely by coach Fred Hoiberg and missed the team’s final two games. He said in a note on Twitter that he was suspended for breaking curfew before the team’s March 8 loss at Minnesota.

This will be the second time that Burke has transferred and third program for whom he will be playing. Burke began his college career at Robert Morris and played two seasons for the Colonials before transferring to Nebraska. Now the 6-foot-4 guard is heading to South Alabama.
