Louisville gets roasted for awful attendance
Louisville’s men’s basketball program is feeling the post-Rick Pitino blues.
The Cardinals hosted ACC rivals Georgia Tech on Thursday, and WDRB’s Jason Riley shared images of just how pitiful the attendance was at tipoff.

Predictably, the awful turnout was met with quite the reaction on Twitter.
You’re kidding right? This is a joke?

Should be ashamed and embarrassed

Hey fans that should really impress recruits when they come through.

Yep, Chris Mack just chomping at the bit to come to Louisville

Even those who were in attendance did not seem particularly enthused.

In fairness, the Cardinals did top the Yellow Jackets in a 77-54 rout, and the official attendance was announced as 16,533 (according to ESPN). But even that is well below the KFC Yum! Center’s capacity of 22,090, and the stench of the recent criminal investigation of the program still seems to be fairly fresh.
