Northwestern will have to make alternate plans for a point guard of the future.

Jordan Lathon, who is a 4-star prospect based on 247’s composite rankings, had his scholarship and admission to Northwestern revoked.

“Northwestern University has revoked its offers of admission and an athletic scholarship for Jordan Lathon, a recruit for the Northwestern men’s basketball team. Out of respect for the privacy of the student, the University will have no further public comment,” the school said in a statement.

Lathon also confirmed via a statement shared on Twitter that he will not be attending Northwestern.

Lathon, who is from Missouri, had committed to Northwestern last year. He chose Northwestern despite holding several other scholarship offers. Lathon is set to be a freshman this fall.
