UCLA is in Memphis to take on Kentucky in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament on Friday at the FedEx Forum. The game will be a rematch of a contest UCLA won in Lexington in December.
Alford has been the center of attention over the past week because of speculation that he might take the Indiana coaching job. That outside jumper helped make him an All-American as a player at IU.
