Is this just Syracuse’s year? It must be.
Freshman guard Tyler Ennis kept Syracuse’s perfect season alive by nailing a long-range 3-pointer at the buzzer to sink Pitt 58-56. The Cuse remains unbeaten and improves to 24-0 with the big win.
As awesome and improbable as the shot was, maybe we should have expected it to go in.

ESPN’s Stats & Info provides some statistics showing that Ennis has been great in crunch time. According to their numbers, Ennis is 8-for-9 from the field, 14-for-14 on free throws, and has 6 assists in the final 5 minutes of regulation and overtime this season.
