No. 2 seed UConn Huskies’ newest March Madness hero, Braylon Mullins, didn’t hesitate with his clutch shot against the No. 1 Duke Blue Devils, and he seemingly carried that mentality into the postgame interview.
Mullins, who hit the game-winning shot for the Huskies against Duke on Sunday at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., was too overcome with emotions that he forgot to turn off his NSFW button while being interviewed after the Huskies’ 73-72 win on CBS.
“I looked up at the clock, and it said five seconds. So I tried to get the ball to somebody who had made one in the game, and he wanted to throw it back,” the freshman guard Mullins said. “So I mean, I saw three seconds, it was the last shot. Just happy to see that s**t go in. So, man, I’m so happy.”

Mullins earned the right to say anything for hitting one of the most memorable shots not just in this year’s edition of the NCAA Tournament but in the history of college basketball.
As mentioned by Mullins in the interview, he had not made a 3-point attempt in the game until his game-winner. But out of necessity, he had to let one go, and fortunately for the Huskies, his desperate attempt from the logo found its target. He was 0/4 from deep prior to that shot, and finished the contest with 10 points on 4/10 shooting.
Mullins and the Huskies now move on to the Final Four, where they will be facing the No. 3 seed Illinois Fighting Illini on Apr. 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.
