Alex Karaban is going back to a familiar territory in the NCAA Tournament.
For the third time in four seasons, Karaban and the No. 2 seed UConn Huskies are headed to the Final Four after a miraculous 73-72 come-from-behind win over the No. 1 seed Duke Blue Devils on Sunday at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
Following the win, Karaban made a flex on social media as he celebrated another Final Four berth.
“3 in 4 what they gonna say now,” the senior forward wrote in a post on X.

You and mullins sure can pick the perfect moments to hit your only threes of the game. That was awesome. Let’s get number 7

Karaban is going after all-time March Madness greatness. His dream of becoming a three-time NCAA Tournament champion remains alive, thanks to the win over Duke.
While most attention has been on Braylon Mullins for his game-winner, Karaban deserves praise as well. He made a big 3-pointer with under a minute left in the second half that cut the Blue Devils’ lead down to a point and helped set up Mullins’ heroic dagger.
Karaban also assisted on Mullins’ shot, so his fingerprints were all over that win by the Huskies, even though he only scored 5 points on a salty 2/10 shooting in the game.
UConn will look to take another step closer to a national championship when the Huskies lock horns with No. 3 seed Illinois Fighting Illini on Apr. 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.
