Video: Brad Underwood goes nuts during ejection
Illinois coach Brad Underwood was all sorts of fired up while being ejected during his team’s game on Thursday.
Underwood was upset with the referees and his team’s performance during an 86-83 loss to Ohio State. With his team down 70-58 and 6:21 left in the game, Underwood erupted. He was called for his second technical foul and got ejected.
On his way out, he pulled a Dan Hurley and fired up the crowd.

The ejection was Underwood’s first in five seasons at Illinois. His ejection had one positive consequence as it seemed to fire up his players and the home crowd.
Though the Illini fell behind by 16, they rallied to make it a 1-point game with 14 seconds left, though they were unable to pull off the win.
Illinois is 19-8 following the loss, while Ohio State is 18-7.
