Just when you thought ejections during games couldn’t get any worse, we present you with Dan Hurley.
The UConn coach received a technical foul for getting angry during the first half of his team’s game against Villanova on Tuesday after a no-call on a drive by one of his Huskies to the basket. Hurley slammed the scorer’s table, which triggered the tech call.

Hurley was upset over the tech and responded by pumping up the crowd. He got ejected as a result:

Though Hurley was ejected, the Huskies were able to win without him. They picked up a 71-69 victory for their first win over Villanova since 2014.
No doubt people will be calling that ejection extremely soft. It had been a while since Hurley was last ejected.
By my count, that's Hurley's third ejection at UConn, first since he and Frank Haith were tossed on Jan. 16, 2019.

At least he accomplished something with the ejection; Hurley fired up the crowd and his team.
