Jalen Rose forgot to turn on his internal bleep button during Thursday’s broadcast of the Sweet 16 game between the No. 3 seed Illinois Fighting Illini and the No. 2 seed Houston Cougars.
As a video of Illinois junior Andrej Stojakovic played in the background at halftime during TNT Sports’ coverage of the game, Rose blurted out an NSFW-infused comment about the guard.
“Spin it around, spin it around. Of course, he’s a Stojakovic, so you know he got to shoot that b***h. You know what I’m saying? Just like all the way around,” Rose said while discussing the Fighting Illini’s play.

It was essentially a harmless comment from Jalen Rose, who was simply referencing Peja, one of the best shooters to ever play in the NBA.
A three-time NBA All-Star, Peja shot 40.1% on 5.5 attempts from beyond the arc across 804 career games. Andrej hasn’t been close to the shooter his father was, but at least on that occasion against the Cougars, he made Houston pay for leaving him open on the perimeter.
Andrej finished the game with 13 points off the bench, helping Illinois to a 65-55 win over the Cougars at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. he has been essential to the Fighting Illini’s success of late, having scored 34 points on 12/20 shooting from the field in the last two games.
