Villanova greases poles in preparation for possible celebrations
Villanova is ready to party Monday night if the Wildcats win the NCAA title — in more ways than one.
According to ESPN and the AP, authorities have already greased the utility poles around the school in the event that revelers come out to celebrate a championship.

More than 20 were arrested in 2016 when Villanova won the title, most for disorderly conduct. Four attempted to punch police horses.
If nothing else, Philadelphia police have some level of experience in dealing with sporting celebrations. Of course, the greased poles didn’t do a whole lot to help then, either. If Villanova wins Monday night, you can bet that people will find a way around that issue.
