A.J. McCarron did not attend the ESPYs in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. His girlfriend, Katherine Webb, was in attendance and even had a speaking role in the show. McCarron’s SEC rival Johnny Manziel was also in attendance for the show.
McCarron must have heard from people asking him why he wasn’t at the event, because he sent the following tweet:

Is he the perfect Nick Saban player or what? That probably made the Bama coach smile, which we all know is pretty much impossible to do.
