Alabama DE Dee Liner flashes cash in Instagram picture
Another day, another young athlete doing something stupid on social media. This time it’s Alabama signee Dee Liner who created the stir.
Liner, who is a four-star defensive end according to Rivals and Scout, shared a now-deleted photo on Instagram of himself flashing some cash (he’s on the left in the picture).
“Me and my n—-s we Ballin!!!” Liner captioned the photo. He also threw in a hashtag Day1N—as and struggle over wit! along with a few images of money bags.
Who knows what he was talking about or what prompted the tweet, but it’s just a bad look. You post something like that on Instagram, people are going to think you got paid by your school. Now all kinds of Auburn fans are saying Liner got paid to switch his commitment from their school to the rival Crimson Tide.
Liner responded to the critics with a tweet:
Don't judge me when u have no clue what I have been through!!!

We went through this same issue two years ago with former Clemson running back Mike Bellamy, who left the school after numerous problems, including being academically ineligible. Then a similar picture shared by wide receiver Laquon Treadwell had people asking questions about Ole Miss. Maybe guys posting photos like this are just an easy shortcut telling coaches to avoid the players.
