Kiyaunta Goodwin

Kiyaunta Goodwin is such an impressive prospect that even Alabama has taken notice.

Goodwin is a 14-year-old offensive lineman from Louisville who stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 350 pounds. Although he has yet to enter high school, the 8th grader has picked up several scholarship offers, including one from the Crimson Tide.

Goodwin tweeted on Sunday night that he had received an offer from Alabama.

A day earlier, he said he’d received an offer from Florida State.

LSU, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Wisconsin and Georgia are the other schools who have offered him a scholarship. And although he hasn’t said he’s received offers from them yet, Goodwin has shared photos on social media of him visiting Michigan and Ohio State.

As if us saying that a 6-foot-7, 350-pound kid who isn’t even in high school yet hasn’t caught your attention, this image should. Here he is making Hall of Fame lineman Anthony Munoz look small:

Goodwin seems to have unlimited potential. A May feature on him from Bleacher Report’s Adam Kramer said that Goodwin could leg press 1,000 pounds and bench press 315 pounds. Imagine how much stronger he’ll be by the time he’s ready to enter college in 2022.
