Report: New red flags have come up for ex-Florida WR Antonio Callaway

If Antonio Callaway ends up slipping far in the upcoming NFL Draft, you’ll know why.

Callaway was a freshman All-American for Florida in 2015, putting up impressive numbers as a wide receiver and punt returner. As a sophomore, he had 54 catches for 721 yards and three touchdowns, plus a rushing score.

Callaway did not play in 2017 as he was one of the Gators who was part of the credit card fraud issue that led to multiple suspensions. The speedy receiver also had a marijuana arrest last year and was accused of sexual assault in college. As if all that weren’t enough, Callaway reportedly is facing even more red flags.

Draft Analyst Tony Pauline says “additional and new red flags have popped up” on Callaway since the combine. Callaway ran a 4.41 in the 40 at the combine, which would otherwise impress teams.

Despite the report about the red flags, Rotoworld’s Josh Norris reported that Callaway was set to have visits with the Browns and Bengals.
