Mayfield, now quarterbacking the Cleveland Browns, has never hid his disdain for Texas, even going beyond the rivalry — the fact that they never recruited him has stuck with him. He’s clearly banking on his old school to take them down today and ensure Texas doesn’t become a factor in the Big 12 title race, which is a possibility if they can win.
