Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson age gap jokes are flying over UNC-TCU game’s final score

Bill Belichick had a nightmare North Carolina coaching debut Monday at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C. Fans made sure to add insult to injury with jokes about his age gap with Jordon Hudson.

Belichick’s Tar Heels wet the proverbial bed in their season opener against the TCU Horned Frogs. North Carolina got crushed 48-14 in a game that felt over by midway through the third quarter. Even ESPN announcer Kirk Herbstreit appeared to clown North Carolina over the team’s abhorrent performance.

Some fans tried to keep themselves entertained by paying attention to a different winning measure than which team scored the most points. The challenge became whether or not TCU would score more points than the 73-year-old Belichick’s age gap with the 24-year-old Hudson.

Unfortunately for all those oddball scoreboard watchers out there, TCU’s 48 points fell just one shy of the arbitrary total.

Still doesn’t beat the 49 years age gap between Bill & his girlfriend… https://t.co/85bEZGcYOP

Craziest thing about TCU beating UNC by 34 points is that it’s still less than the age gap (49 years) between Belichick and his girlfriend https://t.co/3KnEaguXsw

UNC’s defense was virtually M.I.A. on Monday night. TCU tallied more rushing yards (258) than UNC had total yards (222) in the contest. The Horned Frogs’ rushing unit averaged more than seven yards over 35 carries, while the Tar Heels had just 50 rushing yards total.

TCU quarterback Josh Hoover completely outclassed North Carolina’s QB combo of Gio Lopez and Max Johnson. Hoover went 27/36 for 284 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception. The Tar Heels finished with 172 passing yards in total, many of which came with the score already lopsided.

Things went downhill right after North Carolina started the game with a perfect opening drive to take a 7-0 lead. Many commented on how Belichick looked completely emotionless after the awesome 83-yard scoring drive. Perhaps it was because he had a premonition about the onslaught that was to come.
