Bo Scarbrough said he yelled ‘F— Georgia,’ not Donald Trump
Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough had some unfriendly words about someone before the Tide took the field for Monday night’s national championship game, but he insists Donald Trump had nothing to do with it.
In a video that was shown of Nick Saban’s team walking out of the tunnel, it sounded like a player shouted “F— Trump!” Sporting News reported that the player was Scarbrough. After the game, Scarbrough tweeted that he was actually directing the F-bomb at his opponent.
If y’all really listen I said Georgia smh about y’all people in this world https://t.co/VXKFBk7Vnh

If you watch the video, it does sound an awful lot like Scarbrough said “Trump.” It was far from clear, however.
In any event, Scarbrough probably isn’t all that worried about what people think he said. Alabama pulled off an incredible comeback to defeat Georgia in overtime. All is well in Tuscaloosa.
