Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly strongly denied a report that stated he is casting eyes elsewhere.
A report late Saturday indicated that Kelly’s representatives were looking at potential options outside of Notre Dame. In a statement issued through the school, Kelly denied these reports.

One wonders if Kelly is worried about his job security in South Bend. As recently as October, it was said publicly that his position was safe. The team hasn’t improved much since then, though, and on top of that, they were punished pretty severely for an academic scandal that happened on Kelly’s watch. Perhaps all that has changed some things about how Kelly is viewed. Either that or Kelly is simply playing nice here.
