After his team fell to South Carolina 15-9 on Saturday, the Tennessee head coach delivered an odd quote about the defeat, per Wes Rucker of GoVols247.

For what it’s worth, the Vols held South Carolina well below their season average in points per game and came within a late goal-line stand of stealing away the victory. But believe it or not, scoring touchdowns is a fairly large component of actually winning football games, and quotes like this from the always enigmatic Jones definitely won’t cool his hot seat any.
