Dabo Swinney gives Clemson halftime speech on field in Miami (Video)
As if Miami’s day wasn’t embarrassing enough, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney kept his team on the field at halftime up 42-0 to give them a speech.
ESPN captured part of the speech on their telecast Saturday, in which Swinney exhorts his players to “win with class and lose with class.”
The Tigers were up by six touchdowns, so why go to the locker room when you don’t have any adjustments to make?
The Miami Sun-Sentinel’s Dave Hyde says the Tigers did eventually head to the locker room.
To tell the rest of the story: Clemson huddled on the field for a,few minutes at half before going in. Bathroom breaks?

Too little, too late. The shaming was already done on a day where several Miami alumni called for coach Al Golden’s firing.
