Houston has one of the best defensive players in college football in Ed Oliver, who has received all sorts of preseason recognition. But one thing Oliver did not receive is the cover of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. That went to Jimbo Fisher instead.
According to Houston reporter Joseph Duarte, Oliver had a great comment about the Texas A&M head coach snagging that cover. “He didn’t do nothin’ but get paid a whole bunch of money,” Oliver says of Fisher.
In @SInow story by Andy Staples, Houston All-American DT Ed Oliver thought he would be on main cover of Dave Campbell's Texas Football. Instead it went to Texas A&M's Jimbo Fisher. "He didn't do nothin' but get paid a whole bunch of money," Oliver says in the article.

That’s pretty strong.
It’s hard to disagree with Fisher getting on a cover. As a $75 million man, there will be a ton of pressure and attention on him to perform at A&M. He is firmly in the spotlight.
Oliver did get at least one cover — Sports Illustrated’s for being their No. 1 ranked player entering the season.
Oliver, a two-time All-American defensive tackle, has already announced that he will leave for the NFL after his junior season.
