Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz talked some serious trash at the end of his team’s blowout win over Mississippi State on Saturday night.
Missouri was leading 39-20 and had 1st-and-goal with just over a minute remaining in their win at David Wade Stadium in Mississippi State, Miss. Tempers flared a bit and players on both sides began jawing at one another after Mizzou quarterback Brady Cook took a knee to keep the clock running.
Drinkwitz was then shown on the ESPN broadcast shouting something from the sideline. The Mizzou coach appeared to tell Mississippi State players to, “Shut the f– up or I’m gonna score!”

The Tigers did not score. Cook took a knee again on second and third down, ending the game.
Drinkwitz has shown in the past that he is not afraid to fire shots at opponents. The Missouri coach obviously felt he had earned the right to beat his chest a bit as his No. 23-ranked Tigers improved to 8-3 with another win over an SEC opponent.
