Everett Golson will miss Peach Bowl, college career over

Florida State quarterback Everett Golson will not play in Thursday’s Peach Bowl for personal reasons.

Golson didn’t travel with the team to Atlanta and this essentially ends his college career.

Golson was supposed to be a backup to emerging option Sean Maguire against Houston anyway, but still, it’s a shame that Golson – who once led an undefeated Notre Dame team to the 2012 BCS National Championship game – will go out like this.
