Ex-Nebraska coach Riley expected to be head coach in new pro league
Mike Riley returned to Oregon State in an assistant coaching role after he was fired by Nebraska following the 2017 season, but his third stint with the Beavers is expected to be a very brief one.
Alex Marvez of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports that Riley is expected to be named the head coach of the Alliance of American Football team that is coming to San Antonio.

The AAF is expected to kick off its inaugural season on Feb. 9, 2019 — following the Super Bowl. The league, which was founded by Bill Polian and TV producer Charlie Ebersol, will feature eight teams and 12 weeks of play.
In addition to Riley, the AAF has already attracted one of the most well-known coaches in college football history.
