Ohio State suffered it’s first loss of the season on Saturday to Michigan State and Ezekiel Elliott wasn’t pleased with the play calling by the Buckeyes afterward. Elliott, one of the best running backs in college football, carried the ball just 11 times and questioned why he didn’t get the ball more.
On Monday, Elliott issued an apology via his Twitter account for his critical remarks of the Ohio State’s choice of plays during Saturday’s game.

It’s certainly understandable the emotions after suffering a defeat that in a likelihood ended Ohio State’s chances of defending their national title would be that of frustration. Add in that it was probably Elliott’s last home game and you can understand that’s not the way he wanted to go out.
As Elliott noted, the Buckeyes have their annual game with Michigan next weekend. If Ohio State is going to come out on top of their rival for the fourth year in a row, you would have to think Elliott will have to be a much bigger part of the offense than he was on Saturday.
