Florida and LSU players got into a pregame on-field scuffle over an hour before kickoff on Saturday.
Video emerged of several players from each team getting into a shoving match on the field at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La. There were at least two scuffles.

A second, larger scrum broke out in the end zone after a number of Florida players went past the LSU student section. This actually led to a flag, and the majority of players from each team got involved.
Heated pregame exchange between @LSUfootball and @GatorsFB. An official throws a flag. Student section chants “L-S-U!” loudly. And BTW, Trey’Dez Green doesn’t appear to be dressed out. #LSU pic.twitter.com/W7sUTdAAaV

This is not exactly new or unusual, especially since these two are SEC rivals. We have even seen past Florida teams involved in this sort of thing, though they are the road team doing some agitating in this instance.
The Gators are coming off a hugely disappointing home loss to USF last week, so they definitely want to get their edge back. LSU, meanwhile, is unbeaten and protecting its home field. There may be fireworks once the game starts if things were already this testy an hour before kickoff.
