Georgia punter had great reaction to Carson Beck news
Carson Beck announced this week that he will return to Georgia for his senior season, and Bulldogs punter Brett Thorson had a priceless reaction to the big news.
Beck has chosen to play another year at Georgia rather than entering the NFL Draft. The quarterback shared the news in a statement through the team on Monday. Thorson acted like he was disappointed.
“Ah f—. Does anyone have the link to the transfer portal???” Thorson wrote in a pair of Instagram comments (edited by LBS for profanity).

The joke, of course, is that Georgia will not be punting much again next season. Beck was sixth in the nation this year with 3,738 passing yards. He accounted for 26 total touchdowns. Georgia averaged 38.4 points per game, which was ninth in the country.
In other words, there have not been many chances for Thorson to showcase his skills. He will just have to make the most of his limited opportunities again in 2024.
