Hue Jackson’s ticket back to coaching may be as an assistant in the college ranks.
According to Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports, Jackson, the former Cleveland Browns head coach, is a candidate to become Arizona State’s offensive coordinator under Herm Edwards.
I'm told that former #Browns head coach Hue Jackson has emerged as a strong candidate for the #ASU offensive coordinator vacancy on Herm Edwards' staff, per source.

If Jackson were to join Arizona State, he’d be getting back to his coaching roots. He spent time as a position coach there from 1992-1995, and served as USC’s offensive coordinator from 1997-2000. Nowadays, he’s best known for going 3-36 as head coach of the Cleveland Browns, a job in which he still somehow thinks he got a raw deal.
Jackson would be in good company were he to join Edwards’ Arizona State staff, as it’s quickly becoming a haven for ex-NFL coaches to get back into the game.
