Jim Harbaugh may have dropped a big hint about his future over the weekend.
Harbaugh has once again been linked to NFL teams in recent weeks, but the Michigan head coach seemed to indicate on Sunday that he is planning to return to Ann Arbor next season. While addressing seniors at a team event, Harbaugh said he hopes to see some of the players back in 2024.

“I just wanna say, I hope some of you are coming back next year,” Harbaugh said.
Harbaugh has been negotiating a contract extension with Michigan, but the two sides have not finalized anything. The school may be waiting to see what type of punishment Harbaugh and the program will face over the team’s alleged sign-stealing scheme. Though, a recent report claimed Harbaugh and Michigan are still working toward a deal.
The 59-year-old Harbaugh has flirted with the idea of an NFL return the last two offseasons. There has been talk that he is a legitimate candidate for at least one NFL head coach job, but Harbaugh is currently focused on the College Football Playoff and trying to win a national title.
