Justin Fields had a heartbreaking reaction to his game-ending interception in the Fiesta Bowl on Saturday night.

Fields threw an interception in the end zone on a 2nd-and-7 from the Clemson 23 in the final minute, giving the Tigers the win. The Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback put his hands on his head afterwards, as he was shocked over the crushing error.

The interception allowed Clemson to win 29-23.

Fields, who was playing on an injured knee, was 30/46 for 320 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. He also rushed 14 times for 13 yards.

Ohio State fans will likely point to the overturned fumble that took away a touchdown and the huge targeting call in the first half as plays where the refs killed them. On the other hand, Ohio State dominated Clemson early but failed to put them away. They settled for three field goals early — including two when they had the ball inside the five. If they turned those into touchdowns, their lead likely would have been insurmountable.
