Kliff Kingsbury may have lost his job as the head coach at Texas Tech after a disappointing sixth season with the program, but it appears he is in high demand at both the collegiate and professional levels.
Numerous reports this week have claimed that Kingsbury was on the USC campus to potentially interview for the Trojans’ newly-vacant offensive coordinator job. Then on Thursday, there were more rumblings that Kingsbury had reached a deal with USC, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Media says the 39-year-old is still mulling offers from NFL and college teams.
Because many in the NFL have been monitoring… Spoke to a source close to Kliff Kingsbury who said Kingsbury hasn’t agreed to any deal and is still vetting both college and NFL offers. This one is still early. https://t.co/OkylCBYktt

Gil Brandt of NFL.com said Tuesday that Kingsbury’s phone has been “ringing off the hook” with NFL teams calling him and that two have already made offers.
Kingsbury thanked Texas Tech and its fans in a heartfelt letter this week, and his reputation across college and pro football is obviously still very good. If he performs well in an offensive coordinator position, he should have no problem landing another head coaching gig in the future.
