
Texas cornerback Kris Boyd caught a break from the referees in Saturday’s game against Baylor.
During the third quarter, Boyd nailed Baylor quarterback Seth Russell with a hit to the head, but he was not called for targeting.

FOX rules analyst Mike Pereira said he thought targeting should have been called:
In the Texas vs Baylor game I thought it was targeting. It was a shot to the helmet.

Officials reviewed the play but decided against the ejection.
