Lane Kiffin wants Bama.
Kiffin shared an interesting post on X Friday. The Ole Miss head coach wrote the following:
“Looking at next year’s schedule……,” Kiffin wrote.

Kiffin didn’t say whose schedule he was looking at, but it seems he is disappointed that he won’t get a shot at Alabama next season.
Though Bama and Ole Miss are in the SEC West, they are not scheduled to play next season as the conference expands to 16 teams. The Crimson Tide will have a new head coach in Kalen DeBoer, and Kiffin may want to show Alabama who runs the division now.
Some of the tough-looking games on Ole Miss’ schedule for 2024 include a road game at LSU and home games against Oklahoma and Georgia, among others.

But the real big miss is not having the Tide on the schedule and the chance for Kiffin to show that Alabama should have tried to hire him instead of DeBoer.
Kiffin was the offensive coordinator at Alabama under Nick Saban from 2014-2016. He has gone 34–15 in four seasons with the Rebels.
